Bonjour! It’s been a few months since we last sent release notes, so we wanted to curate a comeback good enough to rival Céline’s 🎤. And since the release notes are all coming back to Garde now, our product team has been hard at work, putting in the training and dedication to bring you only the very best ✨. So here’s both a refresh and an introduction of some of the products that have crossed the finish line, stuck the landing and made their way to the podium since January 🏅. Cue the anthems, please! For more information (and pictures), read about our product releases on our blog.

Garde Time with Garde Dhaka! Members of our leadership team headed to Dhaka, Bangladesh to spend some quality time with the amazing Gardeople that make up Garde Team Dhaka. The week was filled with laughter, learning, and so much appreciation. We even had a mini All-Hands ceremony to celebrate all the hard work and dedication our Dhaka team shows daily. We can’t wait to return!
Carrying the Torch with Emma’s Torch: We had the privilege of hosting Emma’s Torch for a Restaurant Management 101 course. Emma’s Torch is a non-profit social enterprise providing culinary, employment, equity, and empowerment training and opportunities for refugees. A cohort of seven students spent the day with one of our Customer Success Managers, Sam Fredo, learning about budgeting, inventory management, and everything in between. It was such a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Thank you Emma’s Torch for the opportunity!
Tom le Touriste: Tom the Tomato’s dream of repping the red in “red, white, and blue” got the better of him. He has fled to Paris for the summer, beret and American pride in tow. Tom has been spotted screeching “USA” at various Olympic events, smoking a cheeky cigarette after inhaling a croque monsieur, and stealing chocolate muffins from the cafeteria in the Olympic Village. Tu nous manques, Tom!
