Follow these steps to connect your Square POS to Garde so your sales data syncs automatically.

Prerequisites

  • An active Square account
  • Admin access to your Garde location

Instructions

1. Log in to Garde

Go to Settings > Connected Data (or Setup > Point of Sale). Make sure you’re in the correct location if you have multiple.

2. Connect to Square

Click the Square option, then click Connect to Square. You’ll be redirected to Square.

3. Authorize in Square

Enter your Square username and password (if not already logged in). Garde will request permission to read your Square sales data. Grant the permissions, and you’ll be redirected back to Garde.

4. Enter your Store Location ID

Enter your Store Location ID. If you don’t have this, enter your location name and our team will replace it with the correct ID from Square.

5. Save and confirm

Click Save, then email contact@garde.app to confirm you completed the setup.

What Happens Next

Once connected, the process is fully automated — the prior day’s sales are sent to Garde every morning.
Note: It may take 1-2 days after connecting before your sales data appears in Garde.
