What Is Included

Setting up a commissary in Garde involves recipes, order guides, vendor configurations, and accounting connections. Getting all of these right on the first pass can be challenging — particularly if this is your first time. Our onboarding service is designed to help. You’ll work directly with team members who have years of restaurant operations experience. They understand the common pitfalls, the approaches that work, and how to structure your setup so it stays clean and reliable long-term. Price: $500 USD
  • Initial Consultation We review your unique setup, align on your goals, and share best practices for efficient and accurate commissary operations. This session identifies what makes your operation different and helps us plan accordingly.
  • Recipe Upload Send us your commissary recipes (up to 50 included in the package), and our team will build them out and set up your Order Guide. No manual data entry required on your end.
  • “Go Live” Training We walk you through the full setup — recipe building, order processing, order fulfillment, and how transactions sync with your accounting system. By the end, your team will be equipped to manage day-to-day operations confidently.

Does Your Commissary Need Its Own Garde Subscription?

Here is how to decide: Physically separate location? If your commissary is a standalone kitchen (not sharing a roof with one of your restaurants), a separate subscription is the recommended approach. Need separate reporting? If you want to track COGS for your commissary and restaurant independently, use a separate subscription. This gives you clean, location-specific numbers.
Separate invoices for the restaurant and commissary are required in order to get separate reporting.
