The Garde mobile app supports push notifications so you can stay in the loop without constantly checking the app. Right now, push notifications cover:
  • Invoice approvals — Get notified when an invoice moves into “pending approval” status. Tap the notification to jump straight to that invoice, review it, edit if needed, and approve.
  • Order approvals — Get notified when an order needs your sign-off.
If the timing isn’t right when a notification comes in, just dismiss it. The invoice or order will still be waiting for you in the app whenever you’re ready. Turn on notifications in your settings so nothing slips through the cracks.

How do I turn on notifications?

Open the Garde mobile app and tap More from the bottom menu. You’ll see a section for Push Notifications where you can toggle each notification type on or off.

Who can use this feature?

Any user with permission to approve invoices or orders can enable push notifications on their device.

Does tapping the notification approve the invoice?

No. Tapping the notification opens the app and takes you to that invoice. You still need to tap the approve button yourself.
Push notifications are device-specific. If you use Garde on multiple devices, you’ll need to enable notifications on each one separately.
