On the homepage and in your nightly sales email, you can compare your current sales against historical data (as long as we were able to pull in your history). You can stack your numbers up against last week, last year, or both. These settings apply across all units you have access to, but they’re personal to your account. Each user picks their own view — changing yours won’t affect anyone else’s.

How is this calculated?

It depends on your accounting period setup. If you’re on the calendar year, comparisons use the exact same calendar date from the prior year. So January 14th compares to last year’s January 14th. If you use a different period structure like 13-4 or 4-4-5, it compares the same weekday within the same period from last year. For example, if January 14th is a Tuesday, it’s compared to the corresponding Tuesday in last year’s period — which might have been January 16th.

What are your options?

You can pick up to two of these:
  1. Last week’s data
  2. Last year’s data
  3. Two years ago

How to change your view

Click your name in the top-right corner of the screen and select Settings. Choose the Preferences tab. Under “Which comparisons would you like to see?”, you’ll find two options selected and a third grayed out. You can only have two active at a time. To switch, deselect the one you don’t want — the grayed-out option will become available. When you’re done, scroll to the bottom and click SAVE.
