If your Theoretical Usage report shows $0.00 in the Sold Revenue column, your PMIX setup is most likely incomplete. Specifically, your POS product groups haven’t been mapped to Garde categories yet. The good news: you can fix this in a few minutes. Mapping your categories is the fastest way to start seeing revenue data. It won’t give you product-level detail (that requires full PMIX mapping), but it gets broad category-level sales flowing into the report right away.

How to Fix It

  1. Go to your PMIX Mapping page. In Garde, click Accounting > PMIX Mapping.
  2. Open PMIX Setup. On the PMIX Mapping page, click the PMIX Setup button.
  3. Map your POS product groups to Garde categories. For each POS product group you use, select the matching Garde category type from the dropdown. Map as many as you can — the more you map, the more revenue will show up in your reports.
  4. Save your changes. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
That’s it. Your Theoretical Usage report should now show revenue for the categories you mapped.
This is just the starting point. Category-level mapping gives you a high-level view, but to get the real value out of theoretical usage — comparing actual vs. theoretical at the product level — you’ll want to complete your full PMIX mapping. Head to How Do I Set Up PMIX Mapping? to keep going.
