How It Works

Garde continuously analyzes your purchasing, invoice, inventory, and sales data. When it identifies something worth your attention, it surfaces an insight on your dashboard.

Types of Insights

AI Insights covers a range of operational areas:
  • Price Changes — Get alerted when a vendor raises prices on key items, with suggestions for alternatives.
  • Spending Patterns — Spot unusual spending spikes or trends before they become problems.
  • Cost Optimization — Recommendations on where you could save based on purchasing patterns across your vendors.
  • Inventory Trends — Identify products with consistently high waste or variance between theoretical and actual usage.
  • Operational Alerts — Reminders about invoices that need attention, upcoming inventory counts, or data gaps.

Viewing Insights

Insights appear on your Home Dashboard when you log in. You can:
  • Review an insight to see the full details and supporting data.
  • Dismiss insights you’ve already addressed.
  • Act on insights directly — many include a link to the relevant page in Garde.

Tips

  • Check your insights regularly — even a quick glance during your morning routine can surface something valuable.
  • Use insights as talking points during team meetings or vendor negotiations.
  • The more data Garde has (invoices, inventories, recipes), the more accurate and useful your insights become.
