Before you begin, have your payment information handy — either your bank account details (for ACH) or your credit card. It’ll make the process quick and painless.

Entering Payment

After logging into Garde, head to Setup > Subscription Details in the left-hand menu. Click “Let’s do This” to get started.

Billing Setup Options

If you’re part of a multi-unit group, you can choose how you’d like your billing organized.
Single location? Skip ahead to Billing Frequency below.
  • Individual Location Billing: Each location gets its own invoice with its own designated payment account.
  • Consolidated Billing: Pay for all your locations with a single payment method and receive one invoice for your entire company.

Billing Frequency

You have two options here, and your selection applies to all your locations:
  • Annual: Prepay for the year and save 10% on your recurring subscription.
  • Monthly: Spread it out with monthly payments.

Payment Methods

U.S.-based clients can choose between a bank account (ACH) or a credit card. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments. Canadian clients can pay by credit card with no processing fee.

Final Step — Review

Take a moment to review each location and make sure everything looks right. You’ll see your first bill amount by location, including:
  • Recurring subscription(s)
  • One-time professional services
  • Any discounts earned
You’ll be invoiced and charged the next business day after you submit your payment information. Want to make changes? Click the “Edit” button under Plan Summary in the top right corner.

Viewing Subscription Details and Downloading Invoices

Users with the Billing Contact role (more on this below) can review their subscription, upcoming bill date, and download historical invoices by going to Setup > Subscription Details in the left-hand menu. To download previous invoices, click the “click here” link under the Billing History table. This opens our billing portal in a new tab. Once the portal loads, click “Invoices” in the header to access and download your historical invoices. If you manage multiple locations, you can switch between them by clicking the down arrow next to your email in the top right corner.

Billing Contacts

Only users with the “Billing Contact” role can view subscription details and update payment information. To manage this role:
  1. In Garde, navigate to Setup > Users in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select the user you want to update.
  3. Check or uncheck the box to grant or remove the “Billing Contact” role.
