Here are the technical details you might need when uploading files or setting up devices for Garde.

File Size Limits

  • Invoice files uploaded via the Garde mobile app
    • 250 MB limit
    • Maximum of 8 pages per invoice
  • Invoice file attachments sent to Garde via email
    • 25 MB limit
  • Invoice files uploaded via the Orders screen (“Attach Invoices” button)
    • 500 MB limit
    • One invoice per file, please. Don’t combine multiple invoices into a single upload — it creates headaches downstream.
  • Videos uploaded to a recipe
    • 500 MB limit
    • Mobile recordings are often in HD and can exceed this limit. You may need to compress the video before uploading.

Supported File Types

If you’re not taking photos of invoices with the Garde app, here are the file types you can email or upload:
  • JPEG, PNG, CSV, and PDF
Send one file per invoice. Do not send links to stored documents, zip files, or any other compressed format.

Tech Specs

Phones and tablets — minimum requirements:
  • Android 8.0 or higher
  • iOS 12 or higher
Devices running older operating systems won’t be able to install the app. Desktop browsers — recommended:
  • The latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge
