The Task Queue in Garde helps you and your team stay organized by centralizing operational tasks in one place. No more sticky notes, text messages, or tasks falling through the cracks.
In the Garde sidebar, Task Queue appears as Tasks under the INTELLIGENCE section.

How It Works

The Task Queue gives you a shared view of what needs to be done across your restaurant operations. Tasks can be created, assigned, and tracked from the Garde dashboard.

Creating Tasks

  1. Navigate to the Task Queue from your Garde dashboard.
  2. Click Add Task to create a new task.
  3. Enter a description, set a priority level, and optionally assign it to a team member.
  4. Click Save to add it to the queue.

Managing Tasks

  • View all tasks — See pending, in-progress, and completed tasks at a glance.
  • Filter and sort — Filter by status, priority, or assignee to find what you need.
  • Update status — Move tasks through your workflow as work gets done.
  • Track completion — See a history of completed tasks for accountability.

Task Notifications

Team members receive notifications when they are assigned a task or when a task they’re following is updated.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Task Queue

  • Use the Task Queue for recurring operational items like weekly inventory prep, vendor follow-ups, or recipe updates.
  • Assign tasks to specific team members so nothing gets lost.
  • Review the queue during team check-ins to keep everyone aligned.
