If you have been uploading your invoices to Garde for a while, that means we now have a pretty good idea of how your costs have changed over time. One way you can see this is on a recipe-by-recipe basis and see exactly how the ingredients costs have (or have not!) fluctuated. The Recipe History button shows you an audit trail of any changes made to the recipe itself.

To View Your Recipe Cost History

Go to one of your recipes and click to open it. Click on More Options and you will see various options in the dropdown. Click “Recipe Cost History ” and up pops a visual chart for you to see the full breakdown of the current and past costs for ingredients in this recipe. As you scroll over various points of time on the chart, the data will change in real time to show you the breakdown on that date. Once you have your recipes in Garde and have done at least some PMIX mapping, you can access this graphic way to visualize this information to make it easier to understand where your items stand in comparison to one another.
